Evaluation
This is the final Evaluation for my project.
I also want to add that the reason I made the main character gender neutral is because of the relatability aspect. I felt that if I made the main character male or female, I would be boxing them into a category, which could make them less relatable to some people, whereas by keeping their gender up to interpretation, it allows the audience to put themselves in the character's shoes easier. Overall, I kept the story and the characters quite vague on purpose so that it would allow the spectator to take away their own meaning and message from the product, not to just give it to them. I think overall this was quite effective as the target audience I showed my product to managed to find it relatable. Also as my product was aimed at people who are more likely be part of the LGBTQ+ community, and by having queer characters and a romance element to the story, I think this helps to make it more engaging and relatable for them.
